SAN FRANCISCO – July 12, 2010 – Today, Ubisoft announces its video game lineup for Comic-Con International: San Diego. The company will feature game demos and unveil new details on its products at both its company’s booth and during exclusive panels at the convention.
Ubisoft will feature an exciting interactive booth located at space #4245 on the main convention floor. The booth will feature an area for consumers to play Scott Pilgrim vs. The WorldTM: The Game before it’s released on August 10th, a special stage to get down with Just Dance® 2, and multiple gaming stations for attendees to play the highly anticipated Assassin’s Creed® Brotherhood multiplayer. Booth visitors will also be treated to fun giveaway prizes throughout the day, including poster signings and special guest appearances.
New details on Ubisoft’s upcoming releases for Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood and Tom Clancy™’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier™ will be revealed at two different Comic-Con panels.
Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood: Thursday, July 22nd from 3:30–4:30 pm, room: 7AB
Development team members from Ubisoft Montreal will discuss the next iteration of the critically acclaimed, multi-million unit selling franchise – Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood. Attendees will learn about the new multiplayer mode, a first for the Assassin’s Creed franchise, and get an exclusive preview of new multiplayer characters. The panel will feature an in-depth look at the story and art of the Brotherhood and the return of Ezio, now a legendary Master Assassin, as he journeys into Italy’s greatest city, Rome, to strike at the heart of the enemy. Hollywood and Ghost Recon are joining forces. Ubisoft and Little Minx, a company of Ridley Scott and Associates (RSA), present Oscar-winning director François Alaux (Logorama), associate producer and technical advisor to all RSA films Harry Humphries, BAFTA Film Award nominee and director of cinematography Trent Opaloch, and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Solider video game studio producer, Adrian Lacey, in a panel discussing the upcoming Ghost Recon short film, and connections between the film and the game. Additional details about the panel will be revealed soon.Exclusive updates, behind-the-scenes photos and video from Comic-Con 2010 will be posted on Ubisoft’s Twitter account throughout the duration of the convention.
