"47 Hours of Voiced Dialogue" Confirmed for Fable III


The final game will include over 47 hours of voiced dialogue, which, according to Backer amounts to 460,000 words. Background characters won't repeat themselves either, with each of the 32 different types of AI able to spout around 2,000 different lines.

The game has one of the most impressive videogame casts of all time - Backer revealed that star names such as John Cleese and Jonathan Ross are actually part of an 80-strong cast.

The Lionhead man also detailed how Peter Molyneux oversees "freestyle" sessions with actors during development to ensure key dramatic sequences are on track before voice recording and motion capture sessions.


Microsoft's 1st Published PC game in three years, Fable III is scheduled for a PC release sometime in October.
