AC : Brotherhood to Feature "Largest Ever Map" Says Boivin

At a UK press event last week, Ubi demonstrated both the single-player and multiplayer gameplay components of the highly-anticipated Assassin' s Creed : Brotherhood. The game’s Associate Producer, Jean-Francois Boivin said that the playable area within Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood would be the largest map the series has yet produced.

Set in Rome, our protagonist Ezio Auditore da Firenze returns to avenge the death of his uncle, Mario, and call upon his fellow assassins to destroy the Templar Order once-and-for-all. Though the details of whether Ezio will be able to travel between several destinations, as with the first two games in the series, currently remain under wraps, Boivin categorically stated that Rome would be the “largest ever map” featured in an Assassin’s Creed game.

In multiplayer, of course, the map presented relies on divided districts as opposed to delivering the full length and breadth of the single-player playscape, and rightly so.

Assassin's Creed : Brotherhood Is set to be released on November 16th for the PC.
